How to Remove Sponsored Ads from uTorrent (µTorrent)

Introduction
uTorrent (µTorrent) has recently introduced sponsored ads from version 3 of its torrent applications. What many people don't realize is that these ads are optional and can be disabled in the preferences, so just follow these few steps and you will be able to enjoy the latest version of uTorrent, without those ads! This method will also work for BitTorrent users.

Steps

Open uTorrent.

Click on the Options tab and then choose Preferences.

Go to the Advanced tab, ignore the "Do not modify" warning.

Scroll down and find these lines:

- offers.left_rail_offer_enabled/left_rail_offer
- gui.show_plus_upsell
- offers.sponsered_torrent_offer_enabled/sponsored_torrent_offer_enabled
- bt.enable_pulse
- offers.content_offer_autoexec

Turn them from true to false. These lines can be slightly different depending on your computer and version. But just slightly. When you're finish, click/tap on Apply then OK. Thanks for reading.
